Caritas Chamber Choir evening raises over £1200!

St German's church in Splott was packed on the evening of the 27th to hear the Caritas choir, and the Supporter's group were delighted to be there to help out with the organising, it was a lot of fun serving drinks, selling raffle tickets- and the musical backdrop was stunning. Of course it was a great opportunity to spread the word about what WaterAid too! 

The choir were superb, and once again we would like to thank them for choosing to support WaterAid- the evening raised over £1200 - this will go a long way in providing clean water, sanitation and hygiene to people.

If you'd like to help us out during events like these get in touch via wateraidcardiff@gmail.com - we always need more volunteers and we can vouch that it's a rewarding experience!

The Caritas Choir's next event is 14th November in St Woolos Catherdral, Newport- we can vouch that it will be worth getting a ticket (via caritaschoir22@gmail.com)

Music for Kings and Queens - St Germans Church 27th June

Are you free on Thursday 27th June? We are supporting a choral event in St Germans church, Splott by the new chamber choir Caritas.

The setting and the singing will be superb- and there will be refreshments! All proceeds go to WaterAid- tickets (£10) available via caritaschoir22@gmail.com.

Coastalong 2012

Cardiff WaterAid Supporters group would like to extend their thanks to everyone who participated in this year's Coastalong event in Cardiff Bay.

It was a really enjoyable day out, and in addition to the sponsorship money we also had a really successful collection around Cardiff with help from the students at Coleg Bryn Hafren.

Following our busy stand at The Eisteddfod, the next group meeting will be on Weds 22nd, 6 pm at the Council Chamber, Cardiff University.

We have a lot planned for the rest of the year including the Eisteddfod and Coastalong, so as ever we'd love to see new faces!
